5 Tips and Tricks For Beginners In Palworld: Get Your Journey Started Right
When a Character’s HP is zeroed, they permanently drop items from their inventory and respawn at the base. As such, the beginning of your survival adventure in Palworld can go wrong in many ways since you won’t have powerful Palmons to back yourself or may not understand a few basics.
Given below are five beginner tips and tricks for Palworld players:
1. Be Aware Of The Elemental Advantages
In any -mon game, players must know the Palmon-type advantages and disadvantages. Diversify your Party with Pals of different Elements so that you have wide elemental coverage and the perfect counters for any enemy Pal you encounter during your journeys.
Pocket monsters in Palworld are classified into nine Elemental types: Fire, Water, Electric, Ground, Grass, Ice, Dragon, Dark, and Neutral. Some Palmons could have a dual-typing, possessing the power of two different Elements, which increases their elemental advantage and disadvantages.
2. Build A Base Near Resource Deposits
Many newbies in Palworld build bases near Fast Travel points. While this makes traveling more efficient, such a base will become problematic as they would need to constantly travel for resources. We recommend building a base near natural resources like Trees (Woods), minable rocks (Stone), and Palmons that provide Milk or Honey.
Palworld players can create their base after hitting Technology Level 2 and building a Palbox. Subsequently, other buildings such as Berry Plantation, Logging Site, and Stone Pit can be constructed.
3. Obtain Weather Resistance
Palworld doesn’t have dynamic weather (yet) but it does have different biomes with pre-set extreme weather conditions. Such weather could give your Character energy-depleting debuffs. To avoid this, players can create weather-resistant equipment and armor via different schematics.
Mid-game players have more alternatives. They can capture a Kitsun and use it as a Mount to be immune to cold and heat because of the Clear Mind Partner Skill. A minimum level of 25 is required to capture the Palmon.
4. Capture Merchants and Black Mareketeers With Pal Spheres
Merchants wander all over Palpagos Island in Palworld. Players need to keep an eye out for them whenever they embark on adventures but they may not find one. A handy trick removes this problem: capturing Merchants in Pal Spheres and assigning them in base.
Attacking a Merchant or Black Marketeer will prompt four to five PIDF Guards to defend them. Be prepared for the battle and avoid making the Merchant enter the line of fire of the PIDF handguns as it could ruin your chances of capturing them. Once you successfully catch an NPC Merchant, assign them to the base and interact with them daily to find new offers.
5. Become A Millionaire In No Time
Palworld has a straightforward currency system. Gold Coins can be used to purchase Pals, Schematics, or Medical Supplies from Merchants. They can be found as drops or rewards although in low quantities.
Want to be wealthy in Palworld? Sell Nails to Merchants for 320 Gold Coins. Repeat the process of obtaining Ore by mining, smelting it in the Furnace to get Ingots, and taking the Ingots to the Crafting Workbench to produce Nails. They don’t require inventory space and can also be useful for building.
